Alvin received Christ on February 25, 1985 and accepted the call to preach the Gospel in 1987. He was appointed minister in October 1990 under the leadership of the late District Overseer Isaac Davis, Sr. of the Apostolic Faith Church in Houston.  Alvin served faithfully under Overseer Davis until leaving in June 1998 to start a new church under the leadership of Rev. Elroy Turnbull. In 2001, he was ordained as Associate Pastor where he remained until God gave him the vision to start the Kingdom of Grace Ministries with his lovely wife and best friend Stephena in March 2006.  

Alvin strives to make a positive impact on everyone he meets.  He is a dynamic speaker who enjoys teaching God’s word in all of its fullness. His love for Jesus Christ and the word of God is evident in his testimony of deliverance. 

Alvin is a native of Houston, Texas and enjoys spending time with his family and the people of God. He has a passion for soul winning and reading the word of God. Alvin has been married to Stephena for over twenty-nine years who are the proud parents of Becky, Alvin Jamaal, Johnathan, Tiffany, Michael, and Gabriel.  They have a daughter-in-law, Kieria, and eight grandchildren, Jazmine and Larry III, Zhion,Chase Alexander, Jamison, Christian Jamaal, Ryan and Brooke.

Alvin loves God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, his family, and his church family. He is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people, especially children.
